Hello

Hello everyone, I am Dr. Carlie Germain!

I grew up in Alberta, and received a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience, doing years of research into addictions. I then did medical school at the University of Calgary, and went on to pursue a residency in Family Medicine in Edmonton. I continue to work as a general practitioner doctor, with particular interests in sports medicine and pediatrics. I occasionally do medical consulting on TV & film sets, and have mostly recently been focusing on therapeutic treatments with Botox.

As an avid traveler who has lived and worked in many different countries, I've also done extra training through the International Society for Travel Medicine. Personal experience has given me a global perspective of health, with sensitivities to different cultures and personal situations. I believe in a holistic lifestyle approach to health, in combination with evidence-based medical science, for overall physical and mental well-being.

In addition to my career, I am a busy new mother, who has recently moved from Vancouver to the Okanagan to enjoy all the beauty and physical activity experiences this area has to offer!
